We welcome you to Bråtadal for a peaceful stay in the Province of Halland, Southern Sweden. The guesthouse, a former childrens camp, is situated among beechwoods overlooking Lake Björkasjö. As a guest you have easy access to the Lake and can enjoy swimming, fishing or relaxing on our small sandy beach.

A recently built traditional earth house shower and toilet block completes our environmentally friendly approach!
If you wish to bring pets we accommodate you in a special cottage where animals are allowed.

Within a short walking distance from Bråtadal lies the protected nature reserve of Björkekullen and an open-air museum. A trail will take you around the farm, passing the root cellars, the blacksmiths forge, the carpenters shop and other buildings of interest. The farm is run today as in the 1940's. On the farm we produce vegetables, berries, fruit, and grain (for the breakfast table!). You will also find rare breeds of cows, pigs and chickens.

A feeling of being home at grandma’s

The smell of homemade bread will meet you at the door.
In addition to private bedrooms, guests can make use of a spacious lounge, dining area and a large self-catering kitchen where facilities are provided for cooking your own meals.

Alternatively a delicious breakfast buffet of regional specialities and home-made bread (baked in a stone oven) can be ordered. We use mainly organic and locally grown produce in our "slow food" kitchen.
