Högvadsån river you can fish for salmon. At Nydal mill you can catch salmon during the summer weigh them and help them on their way past the mill.

Inside Åkulla beechforest touristarea 10 walking paths have been made evenly distributed throughout the area. The whole system of paths is constructed so that you can easily go from one path to another. The paths have different lengths varying from 1,6km to 6 km. The paths are marked with red signs Åkulla bokskogar and a beech leaf as well as white tape. At every starting point there is a red sign with the paths name, length and a box with broschyres about the paths. For more information go to www.akullabokskogar.nu
At Bråtadal the path goes around the lake and is 5,5 km long.

We have put together different hiking packages of different lengths and interest. You can book this with a guide if you are in a group of people. We have special dates when we arrange walking packages for individual walkers.

Björkekullens nature reserve is on the edge of Bråtadal. A well kept cultural landscape and farming environment with self guiding paths, fantastic stonework, buildings and a peaceful area.

A country experience for both children and adults is Öströö sheep farm. Here you can get a really close to the sheep either in the sheep stables or by going on their popular lamb safari. Go to www.ostroofarfarm.com for more information.
